Join our dedicated team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for a leading insurance agency. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service to our clients and supporting the core operations of a reputable insurance agency. You will work collaboratively with the agency owner and other team members to ensure customer satisfaction, enhance loyalty, and contribute to the overall success of the agency.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience during each interaction.
- Participate in cross-selling current customers on auto, home, and business insurance products, contributing to agency growth and customer retention.
- Work closely with the agency owner to develop, implement, and monitor best practices for customer contact and communication strategies.
- Utilize analytical skills to assess the effectiveness of customer loyalty initiatives and satisfaction efforts, making recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory requirements.
- Support team members and contribute to a collaborative office environment, sharing knowledge and coaching others when needed.
- Occasionally participate in agency events or initiatives that may occur during evenings or weekends, as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proficiency with PC software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and web browsers (such as Internet Explorer).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret metrics and performance data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to interact effectively with diverse clients and colleagues.
- Ability to coach and mentor other staff as appropriate.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must possess or obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license within the first 30 days of employment, in compliance with state regulations related to selling, soliciting, or negotiating insurance products.
