Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships by providing ongoing support and follow-up communication.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based approach to review insurance options and educate customers about appropriate policy solutions.
- Assist clients in understanding their insurance plans and make recommendations based on their individual needs.
- Document all customer interactions and ensure records are maintained in compliance with agency procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and meet agency goals.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is preferred, especially in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Highly motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and client support.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Comfortable conducting customer interviews and assessing individual client needs.
- Ability to relate to customers from diverse backgrounds and build rapport quickly.
- Must be able to obtain Property and Casualty license and Life and Health license as required by state regulations.
