Customer Service Representative Position Overview
The Customer Service Representative position is a key role within an independent State Farm agent’s team, focused on delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting business growth. As a Customer Service Representative, you will interact with clients and prospects, helping them understand a range of insurance products and assisting with policy management. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who are motivated, energetic, and committed to delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships by providing prompt, accurate, and friendly assistance in all interactions.
- Respond to customer inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, billing, policy changes, transfers, and claims processing.
- Educate clients on available insurance options using a needs-based review process to ensure they make informed decisions.
- Follow up with customers as needed, ensuring their needs are met and providing ongoing support throughout their relationship with the agency.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to achieving personal and team goals daily.
- Provide timely and thorough activity reports and updates to the agent, supporting overall team success.
- Remain current on product changes, technical developments, and required licensing through ongoing education and training.

- Ability to learn and use computer functions and agency management systems efficiently.
- Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain).
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain).
- Commitment to maintaining all necessary licenses and staying informed about industry updates and continuing education requirements.
