Customer Service Representative Job OverviewMichael Grant - State Farm Agency is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic insurance team. Located in Charlotte, NC, this full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute directly to the growth and success of our agency. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service and support to our valued clients, while developing your professional skills in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities- Establish and nurture positive relationships with customers, ensuring their insurance needs are met through timely follow-up and proactive communication.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly service by responding to customer inquiries about insurance products, including availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing questions.
- Guide clients through a needs-based review process to educate them on relevant insurance offerings and help them make informed decisions.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate commitment to the team's daily objectives and overall success.
- Provide thorough and timely activity reports to the agent, ensuring transparent communication and efficient workflow.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly in written, verbal, and listening formats.
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a team setting.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving to address client needs.
- Competence in learning and using computer functions relevant to insurance tasks.
- Pride in delivering accurate, timely results while contributing to the agency’s mission.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
- Property & Casualty license (must be able to obtain as a condition of employment).
- Life and Health license (must be able to obtain as a condition of employment).
- Commitment to remain current with product changes, licensing, technical developments, and ongoing continuing education.
