Customer Service Representative Overview
Eric Safarian - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients and ensuring a positive experience with State Farm Insurance. This position focuses on providing excellent service, supporting client needs, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction in the insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and warmly greet clients, ensuring each interaction is handled professionally and efficiently.
- Establish and nurture customer relationships, following up with clients as needed to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance products, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients on available insurance options and help them make informed decisions.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, service requests, and policy information in accordance with agency procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience and contribute to a positive office environment.
- Assist with additional administrative and service tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the agency.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and listening abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proactive in problem-solving and able to anticipate client needs.
- Ability to conduct effective client interviews, assess customer needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to relate to a diverse range of customers in a professional manner.
- Property & Casualty license (or ability to obtain as required).
- Life and Health license (or ability to obtain as required).
