Customer Service Representative Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team at a State Farm Agency in New Berlin, WI. This is a full-time opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing outstanding service and ensuring customer satisfaction. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for clients, representing the agency with professionalism and a positive attitude. This role does not require prior insurance experience, as comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities- Deliver excellent service to customers by responding promptly and effectively to inquiries and requests.
- Provide accurate information about products and services, addressing customer questions and resolving any issues that may arise with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
- Manage incoming calls and handle customer complaints by offering appropriate solutions and alternatives within specified timeframes. Ensure follow-up to guarantee complete resolution of issues.
- Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and manage documentation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall office operations and contribute to a positive working environment.
- Willingness to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license, as required by the agency.
- Strong phone contact handling skills, including active listening and clear communication.
- Comfortable making outbound calls to assist customers and follow up on outstanding matters.
- Demonstrates patience, empathy, and strong problem-solving abilities in all customer interactions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Enthusiastic about helping others and advocating for clients when necessary.
