As a Customer Service Representative – Insurance, you will handle a variety of administrative and client-focused tasks that are essential to daily operations and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and provide excellent customer service by answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Organize and manage appointment schedules, ensuring all meetings are accurately booked and maintained.
- Maintain office supplies and assist with general office management duties to ensure a productive work environment.
- Prepare and process insurance forms, manage client files, and ensure that all paperwork is accurately completed and securely filed.
- Enter and update client information in the agency management system, maintaining the accuracy and confidentiality of records.
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and follow up on overdue accounts to support the agency's financial operations.
- Serve as a liaison between clients and agents to facilitate clear, effective communication and provide a positive experience for all parties.
- Assist in organizing marketing events, preparing promotional materials, and managing agency social media accounts to support business growth.
- Offer preliminary assistance to clients in the claims process, ensuring proper documentation and effective communication with claims adjusters.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain the FL 4-40 Customer Representative License.
- Previous experience in insurance, preferably with State Farm, is preferred.
- Administrative or customer service experience, ideally within insurance or financial services environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with agency management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Friendly, professional demeanor with a commitment to accuracy in data entry and document preparation.
- Ability to work independently, resolve client issues, and find effective solutions.
