Customer Operations Coordinator Job Overview
ARC Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Operations Coordinator for a full-time, onsite, contract position through February 2026. This role is based in El Salvador, with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment. As a Customer Operations Coordinator, you will play an integral part in managing cargo bookings, handling import and export documentation, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate cargo movements by working closely with intermodal, equipment, and traffic departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Process high-quality cargo booking requests and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Receive, reconcile, consolidate, and summarize documentation and information submitted by customers.
- Verify and process customer information to ensure that all documentation, including bills of lading, complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Interpret, review, and apply appropriate rates to bills of lading based on applicable tariffs, ensuring timeliness and accuracy in all billing practices.
- Ensure that bills of lading and truck bills are completed accurately and that invoices are delivered on schedule.
- Collaborate with the pricing department to confirm and process rate requests and verifications.
- Respond to customer inquiries, make necessary modifications to bookings, and correct any errors in documentation or bookings as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or job-related training after high school is preferred.
- 0-1 year of general office experience; experience in the transportation or logistics industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
