Construction Superintendent – Multifamily Summary
- Oversees all day-to-day field operations for multifamily construction projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct and supervise operations across multiple concurrent projects.
- Administer and enforce comprehensive safety programs, aiming to meet or exceed incident reduction goals.
- Ensure all project materials and work processes comply with quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain and update the construction schedule daily, tracking milestones and completion dates.
- Issue and track purchase orders for materials and services; oversee equipment receipt and return.
- Manage inventory logs and material distribution for employees and subcontractors.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of field employees and sub-trades, ensuring efficiency and accurate reporting.
- Lead and participate in project meetings with internal and external partners to review progress and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate daily logs and weekly progress reports documenting events, inspections, and project status.
- Conduct and document weekly safety meetings and site inspections.
- Establish and maintain credibility with owners, contractors, and all project participants.
- Review plans, vendor drawings, and submittals to ensure compliance with project documents.
- Approve personnel transactions, including hiring and wage determinations, in conjunction with project managers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high-quality project delivery.
- Mentor and develop team members, including craft, supervision, and engineering staff, to support their career growth.
- Interface with all relevant work teams, resolving issues related to quality, safety, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of supervisory experience in ground-up multifamily or hotel construction projects.
- Proven ability to oversee all trades, with prior experience as a foreman or journeyman.
- Completion of OSHA 10-hour training or equivalent safety certification.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and advanced skills in Microsoft Project.
- Experience with Procore and familiarity with BIM, LEAN, and LEED practices are advantageous.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with extreme attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round, travel across project sites, and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and climbing ladders.
- Valid driving record consistent with company standards.
- Effective use of communication tools, including cell phones and electronic mail, to maintain connectivity with project teams.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, think strategically, and prioritize work assignments for optimal results.
