Construction Superintendent - Summary- Lead and manage field operations for multiple active construction projects
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and in line with quality standards
- Support and mentor team members, including Superintendents and field leadership personnel
- Collaborate with project managers, operations leadership, clients, and subcontractors
- Provide strategic direction and leadership to field teams across several concurrent projects
- Supervise, mentor, and develop field leadership staff, including Superintendents
- Coordinate manpower planning, resource allocation, and equipment utilization for optimal project performance
- Conduct regular site visits to assess safety, quality, productivity, and adherence to project schedules
- Partner with Project Managers and Operations leadership to review schedules, budgets, and project progress
- Collaborate with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders to resolve challenges
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of project documentation, such as daily reports, safety records, and as-built drawings
- Oversee project startup, execution, and closeout activities to ensure smooth transitions and successful outcomes
- Drive compliance with company safety standards and operational best practices
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement and increased project efficiency

- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 10-15 years of progressive experience in the construction industry
- Minimum of 5 years in a senior supervisory or multi-project leadership role
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, budgeting, and field operations
- Ability to calculate project costs, labor budgets, gross margins, and profitability metrics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with CAD/BIM software and construction technology tools is preferred
- Demonstrates a proven track record of successful project delivery in construction
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across all project stakeholders
- Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
- Committed to upholding safety and quality standards at all times
- Ability to travel between construction project sites as needed
- Work is performed in both office environments and active construction sites
- Physical requirements include frequent walking, standing, climbing, and navigating active job sites
- Ability to work safely in varying weather and site conditions
