Working as a Commercial Refrigeration Technician (HVAC/R, EPA Certified), you will be responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment. You will interact with customers professionally, accurately diagnose issues, and perform repairs that ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance. Your territory will primarily cover the local service area, with occasional travel to support other branches during periods of high demand. Commercial Refrigeration Technician (HVAC/R, EPA Certified) - Summary- Full-time role servicing commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment
- Work primarily within the local service area, with occasional travel as needed
- Employ advanced diagnostic and repair skills to maintain equipment reliability
- Collaborate with a technician-focused, family-owned company committed to quality
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment, including walk-in coolers/freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, display cases, rack systems, and hot-side kitchen equipment
- Conduct accurate diagnostics to identify issues and implement effective repair solutions
- Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch to ensure satisfaction and efficiency
- Maintain and manage a fully equipped take-home service vehicle
- Document work performed using modern dispatch and mobile technology
- Provide occasional support to other branches during peak demand periods
- Participate in ongoing training and certification programs as required

- Minimum 2 years of experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R service
- EPA 608 certification required
- Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record
- Experience with rack and CO2 systems is highly desirable

- Ability to work independently and demonstrate ownership of outcomes
- Experienced commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R technician with EPA certification
