Commercial Lines Account Manager – P&C Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager – P&C to join our team. This is a full-time position with an independent insurance agency, ideal for professionals with experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance. The Commercial Lines Account Manager – P&C will play a vital role in supporting our clients' business insurance needs and ensuring exceptional service delivery. After an initial training period, this position transitions to a remote work arrangement, offering flexibility and the ability to balance work-life commitments.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts, focusing on property and casualty (P&C) coverage needs.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing timely responses to inquiries and proactively addressing insurance requirements.
- Assist clients with policy renewals, endorsements, claims, and billing inquiries, ensuring each interaction meets agency standards for professionalism and accuracy.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers and underwriters to secure quotes, process policy changes, and resolve coverage questions efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of all client communications and transactions within the agency management system.
- Support producers and agency leadership in business development activities and cross-selling of additional insurance products.
- Stay current on industry trends, carrier guidelines, and regulatory requirements affecting commercial P&C insurance.
Qualifications
- Current property and casualty (P&C) insurance experience is required for the Commercial Lines Account Manager – P&C role.
- A valid P&C insurance license is required, or candidates must be willing to obtain licensing during the onboarding process.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency with standard office software and agency management systems is expected.
Employment Type
This is a full-time position. After the initial on-site training period, the role shifts to remote work, providing flexibility while maintaining client service excellence.
