We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager – P&C to join our independent insurance agency. This full-time role is ideal for candidates with experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance who are passionate about supporting commercial clients with their insurance needs. Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring timely renewals, policy changes, and exceptional client service.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, addressing questions regarding insurance coverage, policy terms, and claims processes related to commercial lines and P&C products.
- Provide support in quoting, binding, and issuing new and renewal policies, collaborating closely with underwriters and insurance carriers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation within agency management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Assist in identifying cross-sell opportunities to address the evolving insurance needs of commercial clients.
- Coordinate with team members to streamline workflows and deliver consistent, high-quality service to clients.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with industry changes, new products, and evolving client requirements.
Qualifications
- Current experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance, specifically within commercial lines, is required.
- Active P&C license, or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe as a condition of employment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and carrier interactions.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using agency management systems and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment following completion of the initial training period.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and maintaining positive client relationships.
