As a pivotal member of the insurance team, the Commercial Insurance Account Manager (P&C) is responsible for managing a dynamic portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a dedicated book of commercial insurance accounts, overseeing renewals, processing policy changes, and following up on claims to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, addressing inquiries, providing policy guidance, and delivering tailored solutions.
- Conduct proactive follow-ups with clients to maintain strong relationships and ensure ongoing satisfaction with their insurance products.
- Prepare and process insurance quotes, applications, and endorsements for new and existing commercial clients.
- Review insurance policies for accuracy, ensuring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters, brokers, and internal team members to develop solutions that meet clients’ specific business needs.
- Monitor insurance market trends, coverage options, and regulatory updates to provide clients with informed recommendations.
- Assist clients with claims management by reporting claims accurately and acting as a liaison between the client and insurance carriers.
- Utilize insurance management software and related technology to efficiently manage accounts, process transactions, and maintain accurate and current records.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Wisconsin, in good standing.
- Previous experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on account management and client servicing.
- Strong follow-up capabilities and the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and insurance management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to build and maintain positive client relationships through professionalism, problem-solving skills, and a customer-first approach.
- Capacity to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Familiarity with industry regulations, compliance standards, and ethical guidelines for insurance transactions.
