CNC Router Operator - Summary- Operate and maintain CNC router machinery for precision metal fabrication
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders for accurate production
- Conduct quality checks and ensure finished products meet strict specifications
- Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support efficient operations
- Set up CNC router equipment, select appropriate tooling, and secure materials for each job
- Operate machinery to cut, shape, and drill metal components according to production needs
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and work orders to guide production
- Monitor machine performance, identify errors or defects, and perform basic troubleshooting
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of CNC equipment
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
- Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Communicate production schedules, material requirements, and equipment issues to supervisors
- Assist with other shop duties as needed
