CNC Router Operator - Summary
- Operate and maintain CNC router machinery for precision metal fabrication

Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up CNC router equipment, select appropriate tooling, and secure materials for each job
- Operate machinery to cut, shape, and drill metal components according to production needs
- Read and interpret blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and work orders to guide production
- Monitor machine performance, identify errors or defects, and perform basic troubleshooting
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and lubrication of CNC equipment
- Inspect finished products using measuring tools to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality
- Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to all safety guidelines
- Communicate production schedules, material requirements, and equipment issues to supervisors
- Assist with other shop duties as needed

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience operating a CNC router or similar CNC machining equipment required
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM software preferred
- Technical or trade school certification is an advantage
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic English verbal and written communication skills needed; bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Successful completion of a background check
