CNC Operator - Summary- Operate CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components for the oil and gas industry.
- Oversee daily machine operations, maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency.
- Utilize measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers for precision checks.
- Perform quality assurance inspections on both machinery and finished products.
- Adhere to safety protocols for material handling and equipment use.
- Work independently with minimal supervision to meet production goals.
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, ensuring optimal performance and product quality.
- Monitor and adjust machine settings as needed to maintain precise tolerances.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and perform preventative maintenance checks.
- Measure finished components using calipers and micrometers to verify specifications.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records for quality tracking.
- Follow established safety guidelines and report any equipment or safety issues promptly.
