Civil Engineer, PE - Summary- Key member of a Site Development team responsible for the engineering and design of civil site projects.
- Utilizes advanced technical skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and H&H to develop construction plans and reports.
- Contributes to both private and public sector projects, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.
- Leads and manages teams, consultants, and project deliverables to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Engages with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to drive project success from concept to completion.
- Prepare and produce detailed site work and civil engineering construction plans, reports, and studies for a variety of development projects.
- Oversee daily project operations, ensuring that all deliverables align with client expectations and project requirements.
- Manage and mentor CAD Designers and junior civil engineering team members to achieve project goals.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in civil engineering design and documentation.
- Coordinate project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure timely project delivery.
- Oversee and manage external consultants for specialized design tasks outside internal capabilities.
- Review, analyze, and summarize environmental, geotechnical, traffic, and other essential reports for integration into design solutions.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients and consultants, presenting design proposals and addressing project issues and requirements.
- Administer construction management activities, including submittals, RFIs, site visits, and direct communication with contractors to resolve field issues.
- Enforce and comply with quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) protocols throughout all project phases.
- Participate in business development initiatives and other assignments that support the growth of the company.
- Handle additional duties as assigned by project and team leaders.

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in site development civil engineering projects.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydrology and hydraulics (H&H) modeling and design.
- Familiarity with local jurisdictional requirements, permitting processes, and design criteria.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly convey technical information in meetings and correspondence.
- Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
