Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Summary- Work as a key member of the patient care team at a leading medical center
- Deliver direct care to patients of all ages, ensuring safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and families
- Maintain compliance with all clinical and legal standards
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including feeding, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor and record vital signs and physiological measurements in patient progress notes
- Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and clinical procedures as directed by the healthcare team
- Clean and store equipment properly at the end of each shift and ensure routine maintenance is performed
- Identify patient needs and assist in developing and maintaining patient care plans
- Orient new patients to the hospital environment and provide ongoing support during their stay
- Ensure adherence to infection control, peri-operative, and safety protocols
- Admit, discharge, and transfer patients as required
- Establish and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues, patients, and families
- Participate in orientation, training, and evaluation of newly assigned staff as needed
- Engage in customer service and process improvement initiatives
- Report to the Nurse Manager and follow direction from the charge nurse and house supervisor
- Compensation in accordance with applicable federal and state wage regulations
- Guaranteed pay no less than minimums defined in the Area Wage Determination (AWD) tables under the Service Contract Act (SCA)

- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Completion of a medical assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES, or equivalent combination of post-high school education and experience (including military training)
- Valid, unrestricted Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license from at least one US state, territory, or commonwealth
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- At least three years of recent experience as a CNA or equivalent training
- Proficiency with computers and basic word processing, data entry, and electronic medical records systems
- Must be a United States citizen
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Possesses strong organizational and time management abilities
- Shows initiative, reliability, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment
