Job descriptionGeneral Internal Medicine and Geriatric Practice in Northern New Jersey - looking for a certified Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant full time!

We offer routine exams, chronic disease management and preventative care as well as treatment of acute illnesses and minor injuries. Same day appointments are available daily. Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans

Physical Exams and medical history
-
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
-
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging
-
Prescribe medication as needed
-
Utilize EHR systems to document patient information and treatment plans
-
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
-
Educate patients and families on health management and treatment options
-
Stay updated on advancements in nursing practices and technologies
-
Valid NJ Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant’s license
-
Proficient in-patient assessment and care
-
Knowledge of EHR systems
-
Basic life support certification
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to work with diverse patient populations
-
Two year post graduate experience in Primary Care Practice
-
Will consider a recent graduate with prior professional experience in a Primary Care practice as a Scribe or MA
-
