The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) plays a vital role in supporting healthcare teams by working closely with patients, physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and licensed practical nurses to deliver high-quality care and uphold organizational values. Key Responsibilities

- Handle multiple priorities efficiently while working under pressure, completing assigned tasks accurately and within established deadlines even with limited supervision.
- Demonstrate flexibility by cross-training for additional site coverage as needed and stepping in to provide support during staff absences or increased demand.
- Lead and instruct peers when appropriate, confidently delegating tasks to ensure effective workflow and optimal patient care outcomes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with successful completion of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) program.
- Current Massachusetts Certified Medical Assistant Certification is required for this full-time CMA position.
- Prior experience in a medical office setting is beneficial, particularly with electronic medical records systems, though not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to interact sensitively and constructively with patients and healthcare professionals.
