Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Summary- Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced cardiac monitoring and intervention technology.
- Participate in all stages of patient care, from admission to post-procedure recovery.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures.
- Administer medications, including moderate sedation, as ordered by physicians.
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields while assisting with invasive cardiac procedures.
- Coordinate with physicians and technologists to facilitate efficient and safe workflow.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and home care instructions.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic health record.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations as required.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and organizational standards for patient safety and quality.

- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
