Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary- Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization procedures
- Work collaboratively with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Support patients throughout pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure phases
- Ensure high standards of clinical care and patient safety
- Assess and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
- Monitor patient status and vital signs during procedures
- Assist physicians with catheter insertion and other interventional tasks as required
- Administer medications and manage IV lines as directed
- Provide post-procedure care, including monitoring for complications and ensuring patient comfort
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Educate patients and families on procedure expectations and post-procedure care
- Maintain a sterile and organized environment in the Cardiac Cath Lab
- Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
