As a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN), your expertise will be pivotal to ensuring the success of interventional cardiovascular procedures. You will be responsible for assisting physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, monitoring patients’ vital signs throughout procedures, and maintaining a safe and sterile environment. Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) - Summary- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and procedural protocols.
- Contribute to a culture of excellence, compassion, and continuous improvement.
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, stent placement, and other interventional procedures.
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient reactions, and procedural details in real time.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including education, IV insertion, and obtaining informed consent.
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure the sterile field is protected throughout each procedure.
- Provide post-procedural care, including patient assessment and discharge education.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives related to cardiac care.

- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or similar acute care environment preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
