Call Center Representative Position Overview
Our State Farm Agency is seeking a Call Center Representative to join our expanding team on a full-time basis. As a Call Center Representative, you will play a pivotal role in the client engagement process, reaching out to potential customers who have expressed interest in insurance information and connecting them with our Agency Insurance Specialists. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic, personable, and goal-driven to build foundational skills in the insurance industry. Prior insurance experience is not required as we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate with a strong skill set and an eagerness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to prospective clients who have requested information regarding insurance products and services.
- Initiate engaging conversations to understand potential clients' needs and effectively transfer qualified leads to Agency Insurance Specialists.
- Develop rapport and maintain a professional, positive attitude during each interaction.
- Achieve daily call targets by consistently making between 50 and 100 calls per shift.
- Accurately document call outcomes and maintain updated records within the agency's customer management systems.
- Collaborate as an integral part of a team-oriented environment, supporting collective goals and contributing to agency growth.
- Participate in training sessions to develop product knowledge and customer communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills and the ability to build rapport over the phone.
- Strong work ethic, high energy, and reliability in a fast-paced call center environment.
- Willingness and motivation to learn about the insurance industry and the services offered by State Farm.
- Ability to collaborate with team members and contribute to a goal-oriented workplace.
