As a CAE Engineer, you will play a vital role in all stages of product development, from the initial concept and design phase through to full-scale production. The position requires the application of advanced CAE processes, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and computational tools to support the evaluation, testing, and refinement of marine products. You will be responsible for coordinating and planning on-water testing, working closely with cross-functional teams, and implementing continuous process improvements to enhance both product quality and operational efficiency.

CAE Engineer - Summary
- Contribute to the design, development, and analysis of marine products, including propellers and related systems.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop marine propellers for outboard engines and other marine products using deep knowledge of hydrodynamics, structural mechanics, and manufacturability.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute on-water testing and evaluation of products from proof of concept to full production.
- Implement and refine advanced CAE processes to enhance design and development efforts.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to support product development within cross-functional project teams.
- Learn and adapt to established development processes, contributing to ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, manufacturing, and testing teams to resolve technical challenges.
- Document analysis results, testing procedures, and process modifications for project records and compliance.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing or production phases.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Marine Engineering required; advanced degrees (Master's or PhD) preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in designing consumer or industrial products, with marine industry experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise working on cross-functional teams in an engineering context.
- Experience applying FEA to product development, with proficiency in software such as NX NASTRAN or STAR-CCM+ preferred.
- Advanced skills in 3D CAD tools, including SolidWorks, NX, and CAESES.
- Exposure to formal optimization techniques for engineering design preferred.
- Experience with coupled CFD/FEA analysis is a plus.
- Programming experience in Matlab, C/C++, Python, or similar languages.
- Willingness to travel as needed for project and testing requirements.
