We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer (BI Developer) to join our team on a full-time basis in Nashville, TN. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a vital role in supporting our organization's data-driven initiatives by designing, developing, and maintaining advanced business intelligence solutions. With a focus on Qlik Sense and related BI tools, you will be responsible for creating insightful dashboards, optimizing data models, and delivering actionable analytics to support key business functions. Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense and similar BI platforms to drive pricing transparency and data accessibility across the organization.
- Design and refine data models, establishing relationships between tables, optimizing data types, and ensuring high performance for all BI solutions.
- Write, debug, and optimize data load scripts, integrating data from diverse sources, transforming data as needed, and managing complex data relationships to support business objectives.
- Create visually compelling dashboards and reports that accurately represent data and facilitate effective communication of key business insights to stakeholders.
- Interpret and analyze data using a range of techniques, from basic aggregation and statistical analysis to advanced data mining, in order to provide meaningful insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate effectively with developers, data engineers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of business intelligence solutions.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, debug scripts, and develop innovative solutions to complex data and system challenges.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting knowledge transfer and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business intelligence development or a related data analytics field.
- Proficiency with Qlik View, Qlik Sense, Qlik Cloud, Qlik Analytics, Qlik APIs, or comparable business intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of SQL syntax, database design principles, and data modeling best practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team, contributing to a positive and productive workplace culture.
