Business Analyst (Senior, Data/Healthcare, BA) - Summary
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to gather, document, and communicate data and reporting requirements.
- Drive the creation and maintenance of essential process documentation, ensuring clarity and alignment across all project phases.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to ensure all project stakeholders are informed and aligned on objectives and deliverables.
- Support data-centric projects, including the development of data marts, system integrations, and advanced data visualization reports.
- Contribute to the healthcare industry’s evolution by enabling improved data-driven strategies at the enterprise level.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering sessions with end users and stakeholders to define data, reporting, and integration specifications.
- Produce detailed documentation utilizing industry-standard tools such as Confluence and Jira for process mapping and transparency.
- Lead and participate in meetings to ensure effective communication of project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize data marts and support the creation of integration points across various healthcare systems.
- Design and generate advanced visualization reports, including Cognos-based dashboards, to support business intelligence initiatives.
- Work closely with technical teams to perform data warehouse analysis, utilizing strong SQL skills and cloud technology knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and security standards relevant to the healthcare industry.
