Key Responsibilities- Interpret and report on breast imaging studies, including mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI as clinically indicated.
- Perform diagnostic breast procedures, such as stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies, where permitted by credentialing and licensure.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate diagnosis, effective care coordination, and optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and adhere to all departmental protocols and regulatory standards.
- Participate in standard shift rotations or as determined by departmental needs; call coverage may vary by site.
- Engage in continuous quality improvement and maintain high standards of clinical practice.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty expertise in breast imaging.
- Active Indiana medical license required; preference given to candidates with a clean malpractice and background history.
- Demonstrated proficiency and recent clinical experience in breast imaging and interventional procedures.
- Ability to meet all national standards and credentialing requirements for breast radiology practice.
