We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Bilingual Insurance Sales Representative to join a State Farm Agent's team in Flushing, NY on a full-time basis. This position is ideal for individuals who are fluent in both Spanish and English and have a passion for building relationships with customers while helping them find suitable insurance solutions. As a Bilingual Insurance Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by engaging clients through value-based conversations and delivering exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the agency team to identify customer needs, educate clients about insurance options, and support them in making informed decisions to protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in both Spanish and English, providing tailored customer service that meets diverse community needs.
- Utilize a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate clients about a variety of insurance products, including property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
- Develop and nurture leads, schedule appointments, and proactively identify customer needs to market appropriate insurance and financial products.
- Collaborate with office management and fellow team members to achieve individual and team sales goals.
- Make product presentations over the phone and in person, ensuring clients fully understand their options and the value of recommended coverage.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, supporting office initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and drive business results.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in both Spanish and English is required to effectively communicate with a diverse client base.
- Experience in sales, such as outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing, is preferred but not mandatory.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is preferred.
- Strong interest in the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage risk, recover from unexpected events, and achieve their goals.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present products clearly and effectively to clients in person and over the phone.
- Knowledge of personal lines insurance products is beneficial.
- Ability to obtain a Property and Casualty license and a Life and Health license; training and support for licensing will be provided as needed.
