Key Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture leads, schedule appointments, and identify customer needs for insurance products and services.
- Market appropriate insurance products, including property & casualty (P&C), life, and health (L&H) policies, to meet client needs.
- Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships by following up on inquiries and ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service for a range of topics, such as insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing inquiries.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and adhere to all compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve agency sales goals and participate in regular training and development activities.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for effective client communication.
- Active Property & Casualty license and Life & Health license are preferred; candidates must obtain these licenses within 30 days of hire if not already held.
- Previous experience in insurance sales or a related industry is preferred (including outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing).
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales goals or quotas is advantageous.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently as well as within a team setting.
- Effective multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Ability to relate to customers and understand their individual insurance needs.
