The Bilingual Insurance Sales Agent (P&C Licensed) is responsible for providing high-quality insurance solutions to customers, focusing on property and casualty insurance. This full-time, in-office position is a dynamic opportunity for individuals fluent in both English and Spanish, who hold an active Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license. The role is based in Alexandria, VA and is offered through a State Farm independent contractor agent. As part of a team committed to exceptional customer service and professional growth, the Bilingual Insurance Sales Agent (P&C Licensed) will play a key role in helping clients meet their insurance needs while supporting the agency’s goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop leads and schedule appointments with potential and current customers.
- Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate property and casualty insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and support.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding policy availability, eligibility, coverage details, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing matters.
- Market insurance products and services in line with agency objectives.
- Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Document all customer interactions and transactions according to company and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Previous experience in insurance sales, particularly property and casualty, strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals and quotas is advantageous.
- Strong written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Customer-focused attitude and a natural ability to build rapport.
