Meilee Fu - State Farm Agency is seeking a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in Lower Manhattan, NY. This role is ideal for individuals who are fluent in both Mandarin and English and possess a passion for helping clients find the right insurance solutions. As a Licensed Insurance Sales Agent, you will play a vital role in building strong client relationships, providing informed guidance on insurance products, and supporting the agency's growth goals. The position is full-time and offers a dynamic work environment in a vibrant area of New York City.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage leads through various channels, including networking and outreach initiatives.
- Schedule appointments and conduct consultative discussions with prospective and existing clients to identify their insurance needs.
- Market and recommend appropriate insurance products and services tailored to individual customer requirements.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing communication and follow-up as needed.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by responding to inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing matters.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions and sales activities in accordance with agency procedures.
- Contribute to the achievement of sales goals and quotas set by the agency.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is required to effectively communicate with our diverse client base.
- Active Property & Casualty license required.
- Active Life & Health license required.
- Previous experience in insurance sales is preferred; candidates with backgrounds in outside sales, inside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task and effectively relate to a wide variety of customers.
