Insurance Customer Service Representative Job OverviewShilpa Rathi - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated Insurance Customer Service Representative for a part-time position in Monroe Township, NJ. This Insurance Customer Service Representative role is ideal for individuals who are bilingual in Spanish and English and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service in the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities- Develop leads and proactively schedule appointments to discuss insurance products and services with potential and existing customers.
- Identify customer needs through value-based conversations and offer suitable insurance solutions that align with those needs.
- Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, ensuring timely follow-up and ongoing support as required.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service by addressing customer inquiries related to insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing questions.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is preferred to better serve a diverse client base.
- Experience in insurance sales is preferred, particularly with Property & Casualty or Life & Health insurance. However, insurance experience is not required.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Life & Health insurance license.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to actively listen and respond to customer needs.
- Strong self-motivation and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relate effectively to a variety of customers.
