Paul Counts - State Farm Agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic professional to join the team as a Bilingual Customer Service Representative. While prior experience in insurance is not required, comprehensive training will be provided to the selected candidate to ensure success in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met through effective follow-up and ongoing communication.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous customer service by responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage options, policy changes, transfers, claims, and billing questions.
- Educate customers about various insurance products and services using a needs-based review process, helping them make informed decisions to protect what matters most.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and demonstrate a high level of commitment to achieving daily and long-term goals for both individual and team success.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed effectively and efficiently.
- Provide timely and detailed activity reports to the agent to support operational transparency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Spanish speaking skills are strongly preferred to effectively serve a diverse customer base.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to actively listen and respond to customer needs.
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and driven to provide outstanding customer service in every interaction.
- Competence in using computer systems for data entry, account management, and reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to pursue and obtain Property & Casualty license as well as Life and Health license, as required for the role.
- Commitment to remaining informed about product changes, industry developments, licensing requirements, and ongoing professional education.
