Bilingual Customer Service Representative Position OverviewThe Bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR) plays a vital role in supporting customers and policyholders in a fast-paced insurance environment. As a full-time member of our team located in Roeland Park, KS, you will utilize your fluency in both Spanish and English to provide exceptional service to a diverse customer base. Working with a respected State Farm agency, you will be part of a supportive and growth-oriented workplace, helping clients navigate their insurance needs and building strong community relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, billing, and claims processing in both English and Spanish.
- Proactively develop leads, schedule appointments, and identify client needs to recommend appropriate insurance products and services.
- Establish and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Collaborate with agency staff to ensure customer satisfaction and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with agency policies and industry standards.
- Stay up to date on insurance products, policy changes, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with general office duties as needed to support day-to-day operations.
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required for the Bilingual Customer Service Representative role.
- Ability to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license; support for licensing and training is provided.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated dependability and ability to learn quickly.
- Adaptable to new technology and evolving client needs in the insurance sector.
- Motivated, coachable, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

- Previous customer service or sales experience is helpful, but not required.
