Bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR) Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Bilingual Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join our State Farm Agent team on a full-time basis. This role is ideal for individuals who are fluent in both English and Spanish and are passionate about providing outstanding customer support in the insurance sector. As a Bilingual Customer Service Representative, you will play a key role in supporting our customers and contributing to our office's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met through ongoing communication and follow-up.
- Deliver prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, handling inquiries related to insurance products, eligibility, policy updates, claims submissions, and billing matters.
- Educate customers on available insurance options using a needs-based approach, helping them make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and dedication to achieving daily success.
- Identify and develop new service opportunities with both new and existing clients to expand the reach of our insurance products.
- Provide timely and comprehensive activity reports to the agent, ensuring transparency and accountability in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable learning and using computer systems and office software.
- Must be able to obtain Property & Casualty license and Life and Health license if not already held.
- Commitment to staying current with product changes, licensing requirements, technical developments, and continuing education.
