Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Vietnamese/English) Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bilingual Customer Service Representative (Vietnamese/English) for a full-time position with a State Farm independent contractor agency in Houston, TX. As an essential member of our customer support team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that every client receives an outstanding experience throughout their interactions with our agency, particularly during the claims process. This role is ideal for individuals who are fluent in both Vietnamese and English, possess strong communication skills, and are passionate about helping others.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service by communicating clearly and effectively with clients in both Vietnamese and English.
- Guide clients through the claims process, providing support, clarity, and timely updates to ensure a positive experience.
- Identify opportunities to build rapport and make clients feel valued by utilizing "Know Your Client" (KYC) best practices.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism, ensuring client satisfaction at every step.
- Foster long-term relationships with clients by consistently exceeding service expectations.
- Fluency in both Vietnamese and English is required.
- Strong phone etiquette, active listening skills, and a genuine desire to help customers.
- Comfortable making outbound calls as needed to follow up with clients or provide information.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to advocate for clients when necessary.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to obtain a Property and Casualty insurance license; training provided for qualified candidates.
