Auto Parts Cashier - SummaryAs an Auto Parts Cashier, you will be responsible for a variety of retail duties, including assisting customers in locating specific automotive parts, processing transactions efficiently, and supporting the overall operations of the auto parts retail location. This role requires familiarity with automotive parts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to utilize computer systems to support customer needs. The Auto Parts Cashier will also be involved in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, participating in safety meetings, and performing general labor tasks as needed. Duties & Responsibilities- Perform a variety of retail responsibilities, including greeting customers and addressing their needs.
- Utilize computer programs and point-of-sale systems to locate automotive parts and process transactions promptly and accurately.
- Accurately identify automotive parts and provide knowledgeable assistance to customers.
- Attend safety meetings and actively participate in safety programs to ensure a secure working environment.
- Execute general labor tasks such as sweeping, shoveling, and general clean-up throughout the yard and facility as required.
- Answer phones in a professional manner to assist customers with inquiries or direct calls appropriately.
