Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the overall direction, planning, and completion of mechanical construction projects.
- Manage and organize project documentation to ensure information is accessible and up-to-date throughout all project phases.
- Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of project materials, ensuring timely availability to support project progress.
- Prepare and process Requests for Information (RFIs) to clarify project details and support communication between project stakeholders.
- Handle submittals, including reviewing and tracking documents required for project approval and compliance.
- Support the invoicing process by collecting, reviewing, and submitting necessary billing information to the appropriate parties.
- Assist in document management, including proper filing and retrieval of project records.
- Participate in equipment buyout processes, collaborating with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary resources.
- Contribute to duration planning, helping to establish and monitor project timelines and schedules.
- Maintain and update product lists to track materials and equipment used in the project.
- Support quality control efforts by ensuring that all project components meet established standards and specifications.
- Participate in inspection processes to verify compliance, quality, and project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical construction or project coordination roles.
- Demonstrated organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and effective time management skills.
