Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities, maintaining high standards in staffing, guest services, food and beverage quality, and overall financial performance.
- Participate actively in the recruitment, training, and ongoing development of restaurant staff, fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
- Monitor adherence to cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation protocols, ensuring full compliance with local health and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in inventory management, including order placement, monitoring supply levels, and controlling costs while guaranteeing the availability of quality ingredients and essential supplies.
- Implement and uphold operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency, such as optimizing table turnover and ensuring prompt food preparation and delivery.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback and resolve customer concerns, aiming to exceed expectations and drive high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Support the General Manager with financial tasks, including analyzing reports, managing budgets, and forecasting, as well as identifying and acting on opportunities for operational improvement.
- At least two years of experience in an Assistant General Manager or equivalent leadership role within a casual or full-service restaurant environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team motivation, conflict resolution, and effective management of a diverse workforce.
- Strong dedication to customer service, with a proven ability to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced setting.
- Comprehensive understanding of restaurant operations, including food and beverage procedures, inventory control, and financial management.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a consistent record of achieving business objectives and operational targets.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage positively with guests, staff, and management.
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to restaurant management, such as point-of-sale systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness and flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in alignment with the demands of the restaurant industry.
