Applications Developer Position OverviewIDR is seeking a skilled Applications Developer to join a leading organization in Calhoun, GA. This full-time opportunity is designed for professionals with extensive experience in RPG, AS400, SQL, Python, and C#. As an Applications Developer, you will play a critical role in supporting and enhancing enterprise-level applications, with a particular focus on ERP systems and cross-functional collaboration. Working within a team-oriented culture, you will contribute to the success of large-scale technology initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop, maintain, and optimize business applications utilizing RPG, AS400, SQL, Python, and C# to ensure robust and reliable software solutions.
- Support and facilitate enterprise resource planning (ERP) functions, including system configuration, integration, implementation, and ongoing development.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of development projects, leveraging best practices for software engineering and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively with project managers and external vendors to ensure project requirements are clearly defined and deliverables are met on time.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in software processes and documentation to enhance application performance and user experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in RPG, AS400, SQL, Python, and C# development environments.
- Direct experience facilitating and supporting ERP functions, with preference for exposure to SAP systems.
- Proven ability to successfully collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex development projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
