Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) to join our remote team in Wichita, KS on a project-based, flexible schedule. As a Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester), you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of our mobile and web applications. Your expertise will help enhance digital experiences by identifying issues and providing actionable feedback to our development teams.
Responsibilities- Execute comprehensive usability testing scenarios for a variety of mobile and web platforms, assessing navigation, performance, and user experience.
- Document and report bugs, glitches, and user experience issues clearly and concisely, ensuring all findings are actionable for software development teams.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other team members to communicate test results, share feedback, and contribute to problem-solving sessions aimed at continuous improvement.
- Verify that new and existing software features function correctly across multiple devices, browsers, and screen sizes, maintaining consistency and high-quality standards for all users.
- Submit detailed daily or weekly reports outlining testing outcomes, recommendations for improvements, and progress on outstanding issues.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to follow structured testing instructions and procedures consistently.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools, as well as a general familiarity with mobile apps, web applications, and digital ecosystems.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred, but not mandatory for consideration.
- Reliable internet connection and access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device to support remote testing activities.
