As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless user experience by thoroughly testing features, identifying potential usability issues, and collaborating closely with development teams. This role is based in Baltimore, MD, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive usability and functionality testing on both mobile and web applications, ensuring products meet established quality standards before release.
- Identify, document, and clearly communicate any software bugs, glitches, or user experience challenges encountered during testing.
- Work collaboratively with software developers and product managers to relay feedback and support the troubleshooting process.
- Verify consistent software performance across a variety of devices, browsers, and screen sizes by executing structured test cases and exploratory testing methods.
- Prepare and submit detailed daily or weekly reports that summarize findings, highlight recurring issues, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Keen attention to detail, with the ability to follow structured testing instructions and accurately document results.
- Comfort and proficiency with remote working tools, such as communication platforms, project management software, and bug tracking systems.
- Familiarity with mobile and web app ecosystems, including experience navigating multiple operating systems and device types.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred and will be considered an asset.
- Reliable internet connection and access to appropriate devices, including a desktop, laptop, or mobile device, to perform testing tasks efficiently.
