AI Engineer (Artificial Intelligence Engineer, AI/ML Engineer) Position OverviewIDR is seeking a dedicated AI Engineer to join our innovation team on a full-time basis in Atlanta, GA. As an AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying advanced artificial intelligence solutions to drive next-generation virtual banking, security, and support systems. This position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create robust, scalable, and integrated AI systems that enhance products, IT infrastructure, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML models and solutions for enterprise environments, focusing on virtual banking and digital support systems.
- Leverage advanced artificial intelligence, machine learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques to improve product offerings and internal processes.
- Integrate AI-driven features into existing and new applications using best practices in distributed systems design, including microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with software engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to identify AI opportunities and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain APIs and RESTful web services to facilitate seamless integration of AI capabilities across enterprise platforms.
- Utilize programming languages such as Java and Python to implement and optimize AI algorithms and workflows.
- Work with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn to build, train, and evaluate predictive models.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and reliability through version control systems like Git and by implementing CI/CD pipelines for rapid prototyping and deployment.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in AI, ML, and cloud infrastructure to continuously improve organizational capabilities.
- Minimum of five years of experience in AI/ML model development and deployment in an enterprise environment.
- Extensive experience with API integration and RESTful web services.
- Strong proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
- Demonstrated experience designing distributed systems, including microservices architecture and data asset management.
- Hands-on experience with leading machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Proficient in using Git for version control and managing CI/CD pipelines.
- Skilled in rapid prototyping and deployment of AI-driven solutions.
- Certification in AI from major cloud providers such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of advanced AI domains, including natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and responsible AI practices.
