Accounts Receivable Accountant Job DescriptionIDR is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to join one of our top clients in Fort Morgan, CO on a full-time basis. This career opportunity is ideal for professionals with a robust background in accounts receivable and system integration, looking to contribute to a large, team-oriented organization. As an Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and supporting internal process improvements.
Responsibilities- Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including managing vendor relationships, customer accounts, and banking responsibilities.
- Perform general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and detailed account analyses to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
- Administer grant tracking, handle submittals, and process intercompany invoicing as required by organizational protocols.
- Acquire and maintain familiarity with enterprise zone certifications and renewals, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant.
- Process billing, posting, and sales tax reporting with a high degree of accuracy.
- Manage property tax accounts payable posting and processing, supporting accurate and timely payments.
- Support ongoing financial system training and participate in process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience overseeing accounts receivable functions in a corporate or large organizational setting.
- Demonstrated experience with system integration, including purchase orders (POs), inventory management, intercompany transactions, and project accounting.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy across all financial operations.
- Previous experience in the construction or telecommunications industry is preferred, though not required.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field highly preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
