Accounts Payable Specialist (AP Specialist) Position OverviewIDR is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist (AP Specialist) to join a leading organization in LOCATION on a contract basis. This full-time position is ideal for professionals with strong skills in invoice processing, vendor communication, and payment research, who thrive in collaborative and fast-paced environments. As an Accounts Payable Specialist (AP Specialist), you will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial operations by ensuring timely and accurate processing of accounts payable transactions. Key Responsibilities- Code invoices accurately for payment and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Research and follow up on past due vendor payments to maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Track and monitor unprocessed invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete and up to date.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve inquiries and discrepancies related to accounts payable.
- Utilize accounting software such as SAP, Navison, and Microsoft Excel and Word to manage accounts payable processes efficiently.
- Contribute to a team-oriented and supportive work culture focused on continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Proficiency in SAP, Navison, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to respond promptly and professionally to vendor and internal inquiries.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in the music or entertainment industry is a plus, but not required.
