Job OverviewAs an Accessibility Tester (QA), you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that digital products are accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive accessibility testing on a wide range of digital content, including websites and mobile applications, to identify barriers and ensure compliance with recognized standards such as WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines).
- Clearly document bugs, usability issues, and accessibility challenges encountered during testing, providing detailed descriptions and steps for reproduction.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional development teams to communicate findings and recommend actionable solutions that enhance accessibility.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of digital accessibility by submitting well-organized daily or weekly reports that outline findings, trends, and prioritized recommendations.
- Stay updated on current accessibility trends, tools, and standards to support ongoing compliance and innovation within digital projects.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to adhere to structured testing protocols and documentation processes.
- Familiarity with remote collaboration tools and digital accessibility guidelines, including a working understanding of WCAG and related frameworks.
- Previous experience in quality assurance, user testing, or a related field is preferred and will support your ability to succeed in this role.
- Reliable internet connection and regular access to a desktop, laptop, or mobile device suitable for testing purposes.
